Rush Limbaugh Challenges Obama To Appear On His Radio Show
Radio talk show host, Rush Limbaugh, addressed a conservative group this past weekend in which he defended a statement he made in January. The statement said that he hoped that President Obama would fail.
Republican National Committee Chairman, Michael Steele, then came under fire after a war of words between him and Rush Limbaugh in which he called Limbaugh “incendiary,” and “ugly.” Steele was then told by the GOP to shut up and focus on his job of organizing the party and raising money. Steele later apologized for his comments.
In the latest developments, Limbaugh has challenged Obama to appear on his radio talk show to challenge him on the issues. Limbaugh says that “if these guys are so impressed with themselves, if they are so sure of their correctness, why doesn’t President Obama come on my show?” He goes on to say that he invites Obama to the show without staffers, teleprompters or note cards.
Many are viewing all of this as a way for everyone involved to obtain publicity and popularity.
