George and Cindy Anthony were to give sworn depositions today in the defamation lawsuit against Casey Anthony by Zenaida Gonzalez in which Zenaida was accused of kidnapping Caylee. Instead, Brad Conway, the Anthony’s attorney, argued in court yesterday that George and Cindy are too emotionally fragile to answer any questions. Brad also argued that the media should have to state why they SHOULD be present for the depositions. The judge agreed and delayed the depositions from taking place for at least another 20 days.

Lee Anthony, Casey Anthony’s brother, is reportedly going ahead with his deposition, but will halt the whole thing if it becomes a media frenzy. It is thought that he is only going ahead with his deposition because he knows nothing about Zenaida Gonzalez.

Twenty-three pairs of shoes were taken from the Anthony residence. Two pairs are reported to have come from a sealed bag in Casey Anthony’s car. All the shoes are now being tested by the FBI. The shoes are being tested for any ground debris consistent to that of where Caylee’s remains were found, and any possible DNA left on the shoes from moving the remains around. A possible theory now being investigated is that Caylee was murdered in her bedroom. This theory comes from considering that the same type of duct tape, Caylee’s Winnie the Pooh blanket, and the heart shaped stickers all allegedly came from the Anthony home.
