Barack Obama Will Get Right To Work
Barack Obama said on Friday that 2009 will be a tough year. He plans to get right to work. Aides say that after Obama is sworn in, he will head over to the White House to meet with senior staff.
On Wednesday Obama will meet with economic advisors to figure out how they will get Congress to pass his $825 billion dollar stimulus plan.
Obama is also expected to meet with military officials to talk about the war in Iraq. Obama would like to remove combat troops within the next sixteen months.
Other issues include the Middle East crisis, fuel efficient automobiles, and the U.S. military prison at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.
