The Latest Developments in the Casey Anthony Case: Jan 7/2009
*Caylee Anthony’s remains continue to sit in a box inside of a refrigeration unit at a local funeral home. The Anthony family will not make plans for a funeral or a memorial until after Casey Anthony’s defense team has completed a second autopsy.
*The state attorney’s office filed a motion yesterday to prevent the Baez law firm from showing or reproducing released photos of Caylee’s remains. The motion was filed because it is believed that previous pictures of Caylee were released to the media for profit.
*A judge is also expected to rule if Casey Anthony can be deposed on Monday regarding the defamation lawsuit that Zenaida Gonzalez has filed. The defense team would like to wait until after the murder trial is completed.
*Psychic, Gale St. John, has video of her search for Caylee months ago. Upon her arriving close to the scene where the remains were found she had feelings of nausea, and was deeply disturbed.
*Casey Anthony may be able to watch the funeral on a television set. She also now has a transistor radio.
