Newest Developments in Caylee Anthony Case
Terence Lenamon, a member of the Casey Anthony defence team, withdraws from the Caylee Anthony case. The State Attorney’s Office announced that they will not be seeking the death penalty in Casey Anthony’s trial that is scheduled to begin January 5/2009.
Jose Baez, Casey’s attorney, had hired Lenamon to help in the death penalty part of Casey’s trial. Now that the State has dropped the death penalty, Lenamon is no longer needed in the case.
George and Cindy also say that they will not hold any more vigils Caylee for the rest of the year. They are reported as saying that the church that normally hosts the vigils will be too busy with holiday events. It is also reported that George and Cindy will fly to California to follow up on Caylee sighting tips and are currently trying to get the videos from businesses that say they have the footage.
