Wednesday night, Little Rock police arrested Curtis Lavell Vance, age 28, for the brazen beating of  television news anchor Anne Pressly age 26. He was arrested at a home in Little Rock and is now the Prime Suspect in the case. Police acted on a tip given after a media plea to the public for help. Police think it may have been a robbery as her credit card had been used at a gas station.

Anne Pressly did not succumb to her injuries until several days in hospital. It is believed that she died as a result of massive brain trauma. She was unable to speak to authorities or family during her stay in hospital.
